Northafrica is an independent collective of visual and multimedia creators. Northafrica is not a company, but an artistic production factory. Northafrica does not belong to any political and/or ideological force, has no headquarters, and does not correspond to any regulation. Northafrica collective members are free to practice in any field, organization, or company. Northafrica aims at the artistic and cultural revaluation of the “south”, understood as the south of the world. Northafrica is present in a viral manner, where a “south” exists. In all places where geographical diversity merges with social injustice. Northafrica aims at human and social rebirth through aesthetic production.
Northafrica is a project by Toto Castiglione that started in Palermo in 2009.
